M.E automotive took advantage of my dad giving him services he didn't need! I am A.S.E certified and bought his truck from him not too long ago. I called them and asked for a transmission filter chang and told them who my dad was and that he used them all the tim and I hate transmission fluid so I was going to pay them to do it! They quoted me $855 and told me that my pan was the filter, the most expensive one! Me knowing that it only had a sump filter and a spin on filter, I called Jonathan back and told him and he disagreed with me after I told him even the dealer says it's not the pan filter. After the fact I went through all the maintenance records my dad kept on the truck and found out they have been ripping him off for years doing unnecessary services to the truck that he did not need and charged him alot! I am currently in the process of filing on them and will report them to the B.B.B. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND M.E. TO ANYONE!

These are not "unnecessary" services but rather industry-recognized methods to extend the longevity and performance of a vehicle. Your father was a long-time customer, and we always appreciated his trust in our work.
