Tried to scam me by loosening air filter so that engine light would come on. Lucky I know basics and spotted the easy fix but know an ignorant person would take the car back and believe any expensive repair anything engine related. I know it was deliberate because I only went in for a oil change that was no where near filter so no reason it would be touched and especially loosened so much I just lifted and it came off.
Hello, I just wanted to take the time to respond to your review. I'm sorry that you feel that way and we would never do anything to tamper with a customer vehicle. On that same note, it is a courtesy to inspect the engine air filter, as it is part of our multi point inspection. We are a well established business and have been for 10 years. We work with integrity and would never do such things. If you can give me a call so we can talk about when did you come in and an invoice number so we can get to the bottom of this. **Note. - In most cases, a vacuum leak that is before the mass air flow sensor would not cause any issues. The issues come if the vacuum leak is after the mass air flow sensor since it now becomes un-metered air, thus creating a lean condition, triggering the check engine light. I hope this information helped and please give us a call to try and resolve your issue. Thank you
